Life Planner

Okay. I don't think I have been this excited about something in forever. But, this is AWESOME! I LOVE to plan and be organized, so when I found this on another blog I follow.... blueeyedbride.com ... I knew I had to have it! I ordered it several weeks ago, but Erin Condren's site was hacked, so I had to re-order and wait longer... but let me tell you, it was worth the wait!
I chose this design because I LOVE pictures! I wanted my planner to remind me of me, so my cover is pictures of me and Matt. I also ordered the notepads to match my planner scheme. And I have new ultra fine point sharpies... my favorite :)
Because I had to re-order when her site was hacked, I was surprised with a few personalized gift tags! Too cute! I have gone over every inch of my new planner... It came with stickers for special events and a zip pouch for coupons or notes.
I love the design and am so excited about being organized in style! You have to visit her site for some goodies! :) Erin Condren

Have a great weekend!

Niagara Falls

Beautiful.
Zak was driving back to school and stopped to see us for a few days. Because I have wanted to go to the Falls since we moved to Cleveland, I figured this was my best shot. So, when Zak was heading out of town, we followed... all the way to Ontario! We got there late, so we had dinner, drinks, and then our usual routine: I went to the room and the boys went to the casino!
I was up bright and early the next morning, and raring to go! :) We had breakfast and headed back to the American side to go out on (and get soaked on) the Maid of the Mist and tour around the park. It was breathtaking.
Zak and I had a great time. Matt, well. Not so much. He wasn't impressed with the whole adventure, and kept telling me, "it's just a waterfall". After watching the videos and learning the history of the falls, I really wanted to see someone try the barrel ride... hahaha!
At night, the lights of the rainbow shine on the falls, and they are just as beautiful. I would really LOVE to go back during the winter and see them with snow and ice. I'm working on that. :)

There's No Place Like Home...

After spending the summer in Arkansas, I am so happy to be home! I love my family, but there's truly no place like home. I missed my bed, my car, my grocery store, my couch, my Apple TV, everything. It's really hard to be away from home for almost 3 months! I have cleaned for days, gone to Giant Eagle twice, gassed up both vehicles, and done laundry nonstop. BUT. I am so glad to be home.
I have started the job search, once again. Hopefully I will luck right in to one soon. Sooner than later. I have missed my job, and I am more than ready to be back at it!
I have a little more cleaning and a few more loads of laundry, then I will feel all caught up and ready to go!
I am sooo ready for Razorback Football. We have trips planned to make it back to Fayetteville several time this fall for games!
GO HOGS!!

Summer Reading

I have spent a lot of time reading this summer! I LOVE to read and since I was able to take the summer off, that's exactly what I did! I started with the Bride Quartet... Fabulous books!

A set of 4 books about 4 best friends who own a wedding business. I really liked each book; they were easy reads and definately for a girly-girl!
I also really like Emily Giffin, and she has some great books out... Something Borrowed, Something Blue, and Baby Proof.

All of these are fabulous! I haven't seen Something Borrowed, but if the movie is anything like the book, I NEED to see it! I especially loved Baby Proof. At first I was a little skeptical, but it is a must read.
I just finished Twenties Girl.

It was a little strange, but I enjoyed the read. I'm not a big fan of ghosts/ghost stories, but this book had a much deeper meaning... maybe even brought a little tear...
Up next is The Help. I have heard nothing but great things about this one, and I can't wait to get started. I am going to read it this weekend and be ready to see the movie in a few weeks!

Happy Birthday, Matt!

I'm a few days late, but better late than never! Happy Birthday to my fabulous husband! He turned 25 Sunday. We had a taco bar and drinks, then Matt and Zak decided to SCUBA dive in the pool. They are goof balls, but had a great time. I'm thinking I may need to get certified so I can dive with them!

Matt had a great birthday... He got this really cool HOG from his really cool wife... :)
He also got to spend some QT with this little cutie...
Hope everyone had a Happy 4th!

Los Cabos

We had such a great time in Cabo last week! Matt and I met my mom and dad there for the week, and we hung out, caught up, and had lots of little drinks with umbrellas! :)
We had pictures made on the beach. Most of our time was spent being lazy by the pool, but we also did lots of fun stuff away from the resort. We Zip-Lined through the dessert, then repelled from 180 feet.
Our last night we rode ATVs through the dessert and out by the ocean. We had amazing views!
I have never been so dusty in my life! After the tour, we had homemade quesadillas and cold beer!
We went into Cabo San Lucas 2 nights, and we had a great dinner on the marina. The waiters were so nice and fun! They made our food right by our table. We couldn't have asked for better weather!
We were sad to see our week end... I will miss this view!

Summertime!

I'm still alive! It has been a CrAzY month for the Wilkins! After NYC, we settled back in to somewhat of a routine... Matt finished his 2nd year of law school (with great grades!) and I finished up my assignment for work.
Somewhere in between, Zak came to visit and Matt and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary at Fahrenheit in Tremont. It was WONDERFUL!
When Zak was visiting, we went to an Indian's baseball game, which was a lot more exciting this year since they are winning!

We had great seats... and the Indians won!

We are in Russellville for most of the summer. Matt is working at Wilkins Brothers and I am relaxing! I love getting to see Jeremy, Jax, and Emily so much!
Uncle Matt LOVES this little girl!

I have been to WM to see my family for a few days, and we are planning another trip soon! Hope everyone is enjoying their summer!
