November

Is it really almost Thanksgiving? It seems like the closer we get to the end of the year, the faster the days go! I am ready for the holidays, though. This year, we are spending Thanksgiving with Matt's family, and I am making my Mammaw's stuffin'. :)
Anyways, Matt and I made a quick weekend trip to Cleveland a few weeks ago. We were hoping to go to the Brown's game, but it was spitting snow and just too cold! We visited some of our favorite places; Crocker Park, the new casino, Vieng's, and Giant Eagle. Don't laugh. We seriously went to Giant Eagle to get our favorite soup!
Add chicken, corn, and rotel, and this is the BEST soup... and so easy! We got 3 bags!
We also met up with some friends for drinks the last night we were there, and realized how much we miss the big city.

Lola stayed with her buddy, Tank, from Puppy Pre-school.

I missed her so much! But she had the best time with Tank!

Lately

A lot has happened since I blogged last! Lola is growing like a weed, and she takes up ALL my spare time! And... I still love her so much! She has developed a little personality... Miss Priss :)
She is doing so great in Puppy Preschool. Now, she knows her name, how to sit, and we're working on walking on a leash!

Shoes are her favorite to steal and play with... She also likes dirty socks :)
She got a good check up from the vet... we have to go back in a few weeks for more shots :(
 Her blanket!
Meeting Emily
Meeting Chevy

Monday was my birthday. The big 27... LOL
The sweet girls at work had gifts on my desk when I got to work... lots of goodies! Thanks girls!
Monday night Matt and I went to dinner at Bordino's on Dickson. It was wonderful! I completely forgot to take a picture :(
The rest of the week has been so busy. This morning we met some residents from Butterfield at the Botanical Gardens and pushed some of my patients around to enjoy! It was a beautiful morning. I wish I could share pictures, but HIPPA would come after me! Then, we drove to Tulsa for a little shopping... Long. Day.
I'm ready for bed! Have a good week!

Puppy Preschool

She is daddy's girl... and he didn't even want to get a puppy! The first few nights we had her, she was quiet and uneasy about everything. Now, she's a wild child! In to everything and has my house torn upside down with her toys! :)
But who can get mad at that face? Not me! She keeps me on my toes, and I am so crazy about her!
Thursday night, we went to our first preschool class! She met lots of other puppies... all MUCH bigger than her! And her favorite was the German Shepard... LOL! We enrolled in the class for 6 weeks, and we will learn about foods, potty training, teething, socialization, crate training, and how to sit and come here. She is getting better about sleeping through the night, but she's not there quite yet. I am loving having a puppy!

Lola

We are welcoming an addition to our little family Wednesday! Meet my little Lola...
Oh. My. Goodness. The cuteness is unbearable! Today, she is 7 weeks old. I get to pick her up Wednesday, and I can't wait! Lola is a Shorkie- Shih tzu, yorkie mix. She will only get about 8-10 pounds.
I have ordered her a collar and leash with her name. And, Matt and I took a trip to Petco this afternoon. We got her food, treats, toys, shampoo, and carpet cleaner... LOL! She also has a car carrier and little crate... This puppy is going to be so spoiled!
I have begged Matt for a puppy since we started dating.... 7 and a half years ago! It was never a good time, and he always talked his way out of it. Until now!! :) We have a yard for her to play and since I'm only 2 minutes from work, I will be able to come home at lunch and check on her! I am going to crate train her, and we will be going to puppy preschool once a week! Best. Birthday. Present. Ever.
More pictures when I get to bring her home!

Hey There!

I'm still here, I promise! September has been super busy. As a matter of fact, I think we are just at that stage right now. Every week is packed! The first weekend of the month, my mom came up, and we went to the game! We had such a great time! It was her first time to see a game in Fayetteville, so she was so excited!

Last weekend, we spent some time Russellville. Wilkins Brothers Outdoors hosted a Baggo Tournament at the store... and the winner received Alabama tickets... I hope they weren't too disappointed! Poor piggies! This is my absolute favorite picture... Thanks, Jen!
Yesterday, Matt and I sat out the game. I have been running a fever and just kinda been feeling crappy all week, and with the weather being yucky, we just stayed in! And by the end of the 1st quarter, I was perfectly content with our decision. I feel so sorry for Tyler Wilson. I hope our team can work together and make some progress over the season!
Hope everyone has a great week!

All Moved In

I think it takes us longer than anyone on the planet to get moved in a house and settled down. Ha! We have "been moving in" for about a month, and Sunday, we finally finished everything! No more boxes, no more pictures to hang, some new furniture equals one happy gal!

These pictures aren't the best, but all I have taken so far. And honestly, I'm too tired to get up and take more right now. :) I am so excited to be done. Well, almost done. We're all moved in, but there are a few things I'd like to have for the house. I mentioned in my last post I need curtains, but I also need a painting of some sort for my kitchen. So... instead of spending lots of money, I am going to ATTEMPT a Pinterest project! I will be sure to post pictures (good or bad) when I have some time to work on it! I did this little project tonight...
More pics soon! ;)

This & That

I know it's been a while since my last post, but to say life has been crazy is an understatement! We are FINALLY in our new house. I LOVE it! Our dining room/office is still full of boxes while we wait on some furniture, but other than that, things are coming together!

It's a work in progress, but I'm enjoying doing a little decorating here and there. :) I NEED curtains for the kitchen and living room. I just don't want to spend too much money, so I'm waiting on a sale!
I spent this weekend in Russellville so I could see Matt for more than 5 minutes. He is working there for a few weeks... for Tacklecenter and at the carwash we bought a few weeks ago... Don't ask. He does the investing! :) HA! So... while he worked, I got to spend some time with this cutie...

She is so grown up! I have to brag on her momma and daddy... Emily will be 2 in December. She can count to ten, say her ABC's, and she is just about potty trained. And the cuteness. Oh my!
Happy Monday!
