I have been so busy this week! Matt and I joined the gym about 2 weeks ago, and I have really enjoyed going and blowing off some steam! It also has tanning, which is great incentive to get me there. Haha! My caseload at work has finally picked up, so I have been extremely busy at work- I love it! I am 4 weeks into my 13 week contract, and I am enjoying myself so much. It's great to wake up every morning looking forward to what the day holds and not dreading going in!
As far as the weather goes, UGH! We loved the snow before we lived in it and had to deal with driving in it every day! It feels like it will never go away. I am so looking forward to spring. Or, just visiting Arkansas! Ha! Speaking of Arkansas, I have having some major Jeremy, Jax, and Emily withdrawals! I need to see these sweet babies... even though Jeremy is not a baby anymore :(
A few weeks ago, we decided to stop going to the same ole restaurants and try new ones. So far, we have been to Parallax and Fahrenheit, both in Tremont. Tremont is a small area about 10 minutes from our house, and it is fabulous. Super fun restaurants, lounges and bars, little boutiques, and great atmosphere all around! We have really come to love this area! Check out the links below.

The King's Speech
Phenomenal. The best movie I have seen in a really long time. I know I may be biased being a Speech Therapist, but it seriously is a fabulous movie. The reviews and awards don't even do it justice. I went Saturday afternoon, and seriously thought about seeing it again! It is well written, with amazing performances from Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush. I laughed, cried, and everything in between. It really makes me proud of what I do every day.
It is the story of King George VI and his journey with his Speech Therapist. He has a stammer, or stuttering problem, and being King, he is forced to speak to his country and the world- with the start of WWII. The movie is centered around King George's speech therapy sessions and the way his therapist pushes him to believe in himself. In the end, the king realizes that he truly has a voice and deserves to be heard. AMAZING.

Lucky Girl
I am one lucky girl! And Matt spoils me every day :) Example:
Matt and I decided to sell my laptop and buy a desktop in a few months to have in the office. We decided he would use his computer mainly for school, and a desktop would be more reasonable to hold all of our pictures and music. It sounded great in theory. But... I have never been without a laptop, and I just missed it! I didn't realize how much I actually use one. Surfing the web, blogging, facebook, and of course online shopping! :) Matt has his computer all day at school, and when he goes on trips he always takes it with him. Since we haven't bought a desktop yet, not having a computer was driving me crazy. So... my fabulous husband comes home today with a MacBook Air for me!
I got my camera out to take a picture, but the battery was dead, so I borrowed from Apple. :)
It is the 11" one, and it is the perfect size for me! Plus, it only weighs like 2 pounds! I honestly think I could fit it in my purse with a little cleaning out. :) I know this post is completely to brag on my hubby, but he deserves it!

Sick
That is about all that has been going on at our house lately. I was sick all last week with what the doctor called a "mild pneumonia". But, let me tell you, mild does not describe how I felt. 2 days last week I didn't even get out of bed at all. I started feeling better Saturday, and Matt woke up Sunday coughing and congested. Fabulous. He has been sick all this week, and the doctor gave him the same diagnosis as me... bless his heart.
On top of the crud that we have shared, we have gotten so much snow. I don't remember experiencing this much snow last year... it is terrible. Every street around our house has had about 4 inches for the past 3 days, and there is no sign of warmer temperatures in the near future. The snow has slowed down a little, but more if forecasted for the weekend! We plan on staying in and trying to stay warm! I see chili, cinnamon rolls, and hot chocolate in our future! I also plan on putting away my Christmas decorations this weekend- I know I'm a little late, but... oh well!
Have a great weekend and stay warm!

How Sweet It Could Have Been
We are HUGE Razorback fans! We go to every game we can possibly make, even living in Cleveland, we have travelled home just for a game! In 2006 Matt and I got to go to the SEC Championship game against Florida. The outcome... not so good, but we had such a great time cheering on the Hogs!
At the Georgia Dome 2006
This year we made it back for several games because the Hogs were awesome! Matt and I met his family in Dallas for the big game at Cowboys Stadium. What a great trip! We stayed at the team's hotel and were involved in all the special activities.
We went to Fayetteville for the Alabama game... what a heartbreaker. Zak was able to meet us in Dallas and Fayetteville for those games, so I had to chaperone 2 children... haha! We also made it to the LSU game after Thanksgiving with Matt's mom and dad. With that sweet victory, we were headed for the Sugar Bowl!
Matt met Zak, Justin, and Mike in New Orleans Monday night for the Sugar Bowl. I do believe they had too much fun! :) Until of course, the game itself. I don't have any pictures to share from their trip because Matt forgot my camera. The Sugar bowl was the Hogs' first BCS Bowl Game... and we are looking forward to #2 next year!
GO HOGS!
